  1. Short:    ARexx macro to build index for ProWrite

  6. Two files (MakePhraseFile and MakeIndex) which can be installed
  7. as macros under ProWrite and which may be used to generate an Index for
  8. your documents.  Tested on A2500, A3000, A4000 thru WB 3.1.

  14. To Use:
  15. First install MakePhraseFile as a macro (see the owners manual for
  16. ProWrite).  Second install MakeIndex as a macro.  I have installed
  17. MakePhraseFile as macro 1 and MakeIndex as macro 10.

  19. Now go thru your document and highlight the words you wish to have included
  20. in the index you are generating.  Once you highlight a single word (or
  21. a phrase) press the Shift F1 key to include the word (or phrase) into the
  22. phrase file.

  24. Once you have completed the generation of the phrase file, and with the
  25. document you want to index still open and active, press the shift F10 key.
  26. You will be presented with an index of your phrase file (it sometimes will
  27. take a while [because seemingly ARexx I/O is awfully slow]).
